Crosby
November 8, 2010 - August 12, 2024
It was so difficult to let go of our true and faithful fur child, Crosby. He was born in November 2010 and we adopted him August 2012. He was with us for 12 wonderful years.
He had a beautiful life with us here at the lake. He loved the water and would play with his bumper on the dock until it ended up in the water and then he would retrieve it and start all over again. He loved to swim.
He loved the snow just as much as the water and would dig in it looking for his bumper until all you could see was his rump.
He loved to go for walks here in the country.
As he aged, he developed a heart condition which made walking difficult, especially when it was hot. He enjoyed his walks with our neighbour and myself. In the last year his arthritis got worse and he had a hard time getting up and walking so we would just go a short distance.
He was such a good boy. He loved to ride in the car and took many trips with us into the city. When his hips and legs got so he couldn’t jump in the back of the SUV, we built him a ramp to get into the car. He also needed a ramp to get up the steps into the house.
We will miss you forever dear Crosby. You left a big hole in our hearts that will never heal.
Until we join you at the Rainbow Bridge, run and play free from pain with Cody, Toby, Pedro and your siblings.
