Wizzo

September  18, 2007 - September 20, 2024

Wizzo was a champion in every way. A lifelong agility dog, he achieved the highest possible cumulative title of Agility Champion of Canada, and added an Expert Silver Title in Jumpers and an Expert Bronze in the Standard course before he retired in 2018. He loved to run, he loved to play agility with his mom, and he loved life, food, and chasing balls. 

He was a sweet, gentle, brave and strong boy to the end, when arthritis began to cause needless pain despite all we could do for him, and we made the hardest decision there is in life... to help him cross over the Rainbow Bridge rather than have him suffer.

He fell asleep at home in mom's arms for the last time on September 20. He had just turned 17. Now he is with his dad, Bruce, who died 15 years ago. And he has a bunch of brand new Lotus balls to chase there for Bruce, who will always have a pocket full of favorite treats.

And he will be forever missed and mourned on this earth.
