Mabel Thompson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved puppy, Mabel (Mabes) Thompson, who left us far too soon on December 29, 2024, at just three months old. Born on September 19, 2024, Mabel was a beautiful French Bulldog, with pink dots on her nose and soft caramel-colored fur that earned her the nickname “Caramel Sugar Girl”.

She was the perfect companion and our very first dog as a married couple. From the moment she entered our lives, she brought us immeasurable joy, love, and laughter.

Mabel had a demeanour that made her easy to love and impossible not to adore. She was everything we wanted and more—a source of comfort, happiness, and purpose. She filled our home with warmth, and in the short time we had with her, she became an integral part of our family.

Sadly, Mabel’s time with us was cut short after enduring multiple difficult emergency surgeries. In the end, we made the heartbreaking decision to let her go, putting her well-being first, though it was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. We wanted her to stay with us forever, but we knew it was the kindest thing for her.

Mabel’s spirit will forever live in our hearts. Though she was taken from us too soon, the love and joy she brought into our lives will never be forgotten. We miss you, sweet girl, and we’ll always remember you as the good dog who made our world a little brighter.
