Toba

January 7, 2016 - March 9, 2022

Toba had such an exuberance for life. She would try to get anyone and everyone who came into our yard to play ball with her; including delivery people, meter readers and the mailman. She played with the children on the street and they all knew her by name. Parks and hikes were especially exciting to her. She could hardly contain herself in the car on the way there. She loved to leap through the bush, and swim and retrieve sticks. When we tired of throwing the sticks, she would just swim around and bite the bubbles.

Toba helped to welcome our granddaughter into our lives and was her “best friend”; always being gentle and patient when she teased Toba.

Even though her life with us was short, she filled our lives with so much joy and helped us through the last two years of Covid.

We have a large void in our lives, where Toba should be. We will always miss her. Rest in peace dear Toba.
