Chico
September 2005 - April 2023
Chico will always be remembered for his athleticism, loyalty, and facial expressions that readily conveyed his many moods.
Walking through the door he greeted you with all the enthusiasm, like you are the best thing in the world. He would do a little dance and place his front paws on your thigh for a good head rub. He enjoyed long walks and chasing anything that moved.
Chico joined our family in Texas after spending some time in the animal shelter. One look at him and I knew he was the one. Those big, round, brown eyes just sucked me in. He needed a lot of tender loving care to bring him to good health. After that, he flourished.
Within the past few weeks, Chico’s health declined and we knew we had limited time with him. Everyday we saw him fight for another day and he hung on for as long as he could. He wanted to be with us.
Chico, you are loved by many and touched our lives in a way that can’t be put into words. We are so glad that we had these 17 years with you. We will always talk about you with the boys for years to come. We miss you so much.
Love, Your Family
