Kato

There are innumerable moments and memories we wish we could share to help people understand what a shining light Kato was in the world. She had a beautiful soul and a spirited energy that made her the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She had a gentle kindness that she extended to everyone she interacted with. Whenever someone was sad or sick, she would be right there by their side. Everyone who met her commented on what a sweet and loving soul she was. Her authentic love and the comfort she provided others is irreplaceable and will be deeply missed. 

We will also miss that she was full of fire. She was very vocal and always let us have a piece of her mind. We will miss our conversations with her and the life she brought to this house. Good or bad, she has guided us through life’s biggest challenges and words can’t express how thankful we are to her. Her fur was so incredibly soft and reminded us of pussy willows. She always smelled like fresh winter air, even when she was lounging in the summer sun.

Right now, our hearts and our home feel irreparably empty but we know we are ultimately fuller in life for having experienced her profound heart.
