Lexi

January 18 2008 - March 15, 2023

My Lexi girl, 15 years ago I brought her home after buying her with my birthday money without my mom knowing, it didn’t take long for everyone to fall in love with her and for her to become a part of our family. We celebrated my 15th birthday together and Lexi made it a week before my 30th, I asked for 15 years and she gave me exactly that. Lexi was by my side in my darkest times, and my happiest. Our family may be a lot bigger now, but it began with just her and me. She fought through everything life through at her including a house fire, cancer, having puppies, a torn tendon in her knee and she fought until the very end when her body just couldn’t do it anymore and I am so thankful for the time we had together, half of my life with Lexi by my side and it still wasn’t long enough.

Home takes on a whole different meaning when a part of it is missing, my life is a lot duller without her, I will miss Lexi’s big personality including all the little annoying things she did that I now wish I could have back.

I will miss you for the rest of my life, thank you for giving me everything you had.
